My name is Mireya Melero and I’m a recent graduate from Indiana University with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design. For as long as I can remember, I have always had a passion for art and design and knew I wanted to make a profession out of creating and being a creative. Exploring my identity as a Mexican American woman is a big theme to my personal work, and in order to translate these interests into professional work, I love to utilize color theory and other graphic skills. I specialize in illustration work, but have cross-disciplinary skills in branding, product design and graphic coding. Within my education I’ve dabbled with a lot of different mediums such as printmaking, website creation/coding, fiber art, and typography ideation among others. I’d love to discuss the diverse work I’ve created with you! I hope to hear from you!
